AMCO Enterprises is a full-line distributor of top-quality fasteners, industrial “class C”, and specialty items.  We specialize in solutions for high-volume OEMs across a broad range of industries.

Since 1968, we have been known as The Metric Fastener Specialist.  However, our product mix has expanded over the years to include a wide variety of non-metric hardware, custom made-to-print items, and a broad array of industrial supply components.

We have developed a number of unique, “Just in Time” delivery systems and VMI programs for our clients in various industries including automotive, electronics, automation, government, oil field, fresh water pipe, and heavy equipment.

AMCO Enterprises began operations in 1968 by offering custom packaging and production of metric hardware to the automotive aftermarket.  In 1971, the business was incorporated in the state of Texas as Southwest Metrics, Inc. d/b/a AMCO Enterprises.  Over the years, we have become one of the most successful metric hardware distributors in the nation, with customers all across the USA as well as in Mexico, Australia, and Europe.

In 1986, the company acquired Arrowhead Manufacturing Company to include screw machine production in order to satisfy an increased demand for custom parts.  Arrowhead Mfg. is capable of high production rates using Statistical Process Control on a variety of raw materials including steel, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel.  We have over twenty multi-spindle screw machines, a complete secondary-operations department, and an independent Quality Assurance Lab.  With capacity up to 3-1/2” (89 mm) diameter, high-volume specials and custom parts of any size are never a problem.

During the early nineties, the demands of our growing customer base enabled us to expand our product offerings to include a broad range of non-metric fasteners, increasing our product coverage to include essentially the entire range of standard threaded fasteners.

However, the growth has not stopped there. In recent years, we have continued to respond to our clients’ needs by significantly increasing range of product offerings beyond threaded fasteners to include an endless variety industrial components, tools, adhesives, bearings, gaskets, grommets, fittings, and so much more.  We’re pleased to see that expansion continue, even today.

In Q4 2018, Arrowhead Manufacturing Company was sold and is now under new management with a new name: Arrowhead Machined Products, LLC. Arrowhead continues to be a key supplier of precision custom machined components to AMCO Enterprises.
